The FAMOS stud farm combines top-class dressage and exquisite horse breeding under one roof. This requires strength. FAMOS owner Maik Kanitzky has therefore expanded his team. The foundation for a strong FAMOS is in place.

After Maik Kanitzky was able to get Olympic team gold medalist Dorothee Schneider excited about dressage training at the FAMOS stud farm, he has gained an experienced operations manager for his stud farms. Starting in February of this year, Heiner Kanowski will take over the organization of the FAMOS stud farm administration in close coordination with the owner. The Lower Saxony native was previously managing director of the Oldenburg Horse Breeding Association. His résumé includes positions at DLG, Frankfurt am Main, Jahr-Verlag, Hamburg, the Lower Saxony State Stud, Celle, and the Hanoverian Association, Verden. Heiner Kanowski developed the Liebenberg Horse Forum into a unique lecture event in collaboration with Dkb AG, Berlin.

At the next FAMOS event, the presentation at the stallion show at the Oldenburg Horse Center in Vechta on Saturday, February 28 at 6:00 p.m., breeders and all friends of FAMOS will of course have the experts in breeding and sport, Detlef Utrecht van Dijk and Christoph Brüseke, at their side to offer advice and assistance.

The FAMOS team looks forward to welcoming many guests.

A warm welcome to all!
